Polaris was established in 2025 as the corporate finance business of Kalene Hill Advisors, a Zambian headquartered valuation and research practice. Our team has led first-time capital market transactions on the Lusaka Securities Exchange since 2007 and has advised clients from entrepreneurs to Fortune 500 companies across Southern, East and West Africa.

Chief Executive
Founder and Chief Executive of Polaris and a Director of Kalene Hill. Seventeen years across corporate finance, capital markets and equity research, previously in senior roles at Imara Corporate Finance, the Industrial Development Corporation Zambia, Stockbrokers Zambia and ZCCM Investments Holdings. He has supported a broad range of entities, from leading SMEs to large publicly traded companies active in Africa. Professional Banker, Institute of Bankers South Africa, and a 2022 Africa Impact Investment Fellow.
Kapembwa Mulenga-Mwambazi
Director, Business Development and Projects
Business development and project delivery across capital markets and advisory, including the Lusaka Securities Exchange, Stockbrokers Zambia and Blue Sequoia Investor Services, and most recently as Senior Advisor for new business at 8Hundred Enterprises in Johannesburg. She leads client relationships, proposals and project management for the group. BCom Marketing, Mulungushi University, member of the Zambia Institute of Marketing, with certificates in ESG and sustainable finance.
Chama Musonda

Chama provides valuation and research support on engagements in Zambia, Malawi and Botswana, covering financial analysis, macroeconomic research and country analysis. He joined Kalene Hill as an intern in 2023 and was a recipient of the Kalene Hill Studentship for promising Zambian finance students. He graduated as valedictorian of ZCAS University’s class of 2024 and is a CFA Level III candidate.
